Role summary

As a Product Manager at Caruso, you'll own meaningful areas of our product end-to-end — from discovery and customer insight through to specification, prototyping, and delivery. Reporting to our Head of Product, you'll define what we build and why, collaborate closely with engineering and design to ship it, and use data to measure whether it's working.
What makes this role different is how you'll work. We've built our product team around AI-native tools that compress the gap between idea and artifact. You'll use tools like V0 to rapidly prototype interfaces, Claude Code to ship small fixes and features directly, and Claude Projects to synthesize research and maintain living specs. This means you'll move faster, stay closer to the work, and have more direct impact than a traditional PM role — without needing a deep engineering background.
We're looking for someone with strong product instincts, a bias toward action, and genuine curiosity about how AI tooling is reshaping the way product teams operate.

What you'll do:

Own areas of the product roadmap end-to-end — leading discovery, defining requirements, and driving delivery alongside engineering and design.
Deeply understand our customers — synthesising feedback, running research, and translating insights into clear product direction.
Rapidly prototype product concepts and UI flows, turning ideas into tangible artefacts in hours rather than weeks.
Ship bug fixes, small features, and product improvements directly, working alongside engineers rather than just handing off tickets.
Write clear specifications with well-defined acceptance criteria, managing prioritisation across bugs, feature requests, and technical debt in Linear.
Define and track product metrics, using data to validate hypotheses and drive iteration.
Collaborate closely with our Head of Product, engineering, design, and customer-facing teams to ensure what we're building maps to real market needs.
Continuously improve how the product team works — adopting new tools, refining workflows, and finding ways to increase both velocity and quality.
Stay current with the evolving AI tooling landscape and bring practical applications back to the team.

What we're looking for:

3+ years of experience in product management, product design, Front end development or a technical product role — ideally in SaaS or fintech.
Demonstrated, hands-on experience with AI-native tools: Claude (Projects, Code), V0 or similar prototyping tools, and modern project management tools like Linear.
Strong product instinct with the ability to balance customer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
Excellent written communication — you can write clear specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering agents and engineering teams love.
A bias toward action and experimentation over lengthy planning cycles.
Bonus: Experience in fund management, financial services, or private markets.
