Role summary
Caruso is redefining the operating system for fund managers. As a Senior Implementation Consultant, you will lead implementations of our SaaS platform for clients across private credit, real estate, and funds management. This is not cookie-cutter onboarding, your role is to deeply understand how each client’s fund operates, design tailored solutions, and deliver high-impact implementations that drive long-term adoption.
You’ll work at the intersection of fund operations, product configuration, and client success, translating complex requirements into elegant system workflows. You’ll serve as a trusted partner to fund managers, CFOs, and back-office teams - advising on best practices, re-engineering legacy workflows, and bringing the Caruso platform to life.
This is a senior, client-facing role ideal for those with a consulting mindset and a deep understanding of investment operations. You’ll be joining a nimble, product-driven team and helping shape the blueprint for Caruso’s implementation playbook.
What you'll do:
Lead client implementations from end to end, from discovery and configuration to data migration, testing, training, and go-live support. You own the outcome.
Understand how each fund manager operates - from investor structures to compliance requirements - and translate those into clean, effective workflows within Caruso.
Work with clients who have complex or unconventional workflows to design solutions that align with their operating model. You’ll apply a strategic mindset - balancing configuration, process design, and smart trade-offs to deliver outcomes that work in the real world.
Manage the data journey, overseeing data mappings, transformations, and integrations such as CRMs, fund accounting systems, and incumbent registries, in collaboration with our data engineering team.
Make our process better by contributing to playbooks, templates, and tooling so we get faster and better every time, without losing flexibility.
Work across teams and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Success to close feedback loops and shape the platform through real-world client input.
Mentor others by supporting junior team members and helping build a strong, scalable delivery function.
What we're looking for:
4+ years of experience in SaaS implementation, client consulting, or business systems integration - preferably in private markets, fund admin, or fintech.
A consulting mindset: you solve business problems, not just deliver technical checklists.
Strong experience with data migration, process mapping, and complex configuration logic.
You’re fluent in both finance and technology - comfortable navigating system architecture, but equally skilled at translating complexity into clear, stakeholder-friendly language.
Polished client communication skills and a high degree of emotional intelligence.
Experience working with (or for) fund managers, PE/VC ops teams, or complex multi-entity investment vehicles is a strong advantage.
Deep familiarity with fund workflows, registries, compliance, investor onboarding, and reporting is a bonus.
